Born in London, Jeffrey is the current Doltis in charge of The Savile Row Company. The business was originally started by his father Gerry, who was a master tailor that made suits for many of the leading entertainment and establishment figures of the day.
Growing up, Jeffrey was always interested in how things were made, so it seems rather fitting that he would end up in the shirt-making business.
At 18 he moved to Northern Ireland where he really started to learn his trade. He attended Queen’s University to study History, and later begun working at his father’s factory. During this time, he immersed himself in clothing design, creation and manufacture – learning everything he could about the business and what it took to make the highest quality garments.
For 31 years, Jeffrey has held the reigns of the company – watching it grow from a niche manufacturer to a global online retailer. His daughter Lee-Anne is the next Doltis in line.
Currently our marketing director, Lee-Anne studied Textile Management at Leeds University and has a background in buying, merchandising and marketing. She has been with the company for the last five years.
In their spare time, Jeffrey and Lee-Anne like to spend time with their family. You’ll often find Jeffrey on the golf course (mainly in the longer grass), whilst Lee-Anne has an unhealthy obsession with hitting her 10K steps every day.
